The GRASP AppPrivacy Policy

The GRASP App is offered by GRASP Coaching & Consulting, LLC, doing business as GRASP Leadership Advisory, founded by Tara LaFon Gooch, MBA ("we," "us"). This policy explains what the app collects, why, and the choices you have.
What stays on your phone
Your daily practice, including your gratitude entries, goals, wins, journal notes, check-in scores and reflections, is saved in your phone's browser storage. It is not sent to us unless you choose one of the options below.
What you can choose to share
- Anonymous progress (optional). If you turn on "Share my progress anonymously," the app sends your check-in scores, days practiced, weekly evidence answers and Day 30, 60 and 90 reflection choices, with a random code instead of your name or email. We use this to measure and report the results of the GRASP Method™, for example "users grew their confidence score by 2 points in 30 days."
- Quotes (optional). If you allow Tara to quote you, the words you write in your Day 30, 60 or 90 reflection may be shared in her programs, website and social media, shown with your first name, your full name and title, or anonymously, as you choose. We will never use your photo without asking you separately.
- Backup (optional). If you sign in with your email to back up your progress, your app data and email address are stored securely so you can restore your progress on another phone.
Information you send us directly
- Email list. If you join Tara's email list, your name and email are stored with our email provider, Kit. You can unsubscribe from any email.
- Introductions. If you use "Who should Tara meet?" the details you enter, including any decision maker's name and contact information, are sent to Tara so she can follow up as you asked. Please only share someone's contact details if you believe they would welcome the introduction.
- Thank-you notes and sharing. These open your own text, email or share apps. We do not see or store those messages.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the app: Netlify (hosting and forms), Supabase (secure backup and anonymous research data, if you opt in) and Kit (email list, if you join). They process information only to provide their services to us.
How we use information
To run and improve the app, back up your progress when you ask, follow up on introductions you request, send emails you sign up for, and report the overall results of the GRASP Method™. Results we share publicly are combined across many users and never identify you, unless you have given permission to be quoted.
Your choices and rights
- Change your sharing and quote choices anytime in the app under Tools, then Your privacy.
- Ask us to see, correct or delete information we hold about you by emailing Tara@TaraLaFonGooch.com. We will respond within 30 days.
- Delete everything on your phone at any time with "Start fresh" in Tools, or by clearing your browser data.
Security and retention
Information we receive is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access limited to Tara and the providers above. We keep it only as long as needed for the purposes described here, or until you ask us to delete it.
Age
The GRASP App is designed for adults 18 and older and is not intended for children.
Company programs
If your employer gives you access to the app, your employer does not see your personal entries. Any results shared with your employer are combined and anonymous.
Changes
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update the date above and let you know in the app.
